Cas wakes and sits bolt upright. "Mom?" The broken ribs kick in... "Ow!"
Rene discribes what happened in medical terms and Cas almost understands it.
Cas reads the card and its from X and Dallas and Chigger. Nice big cards and stuff.
Olga suggests that maybe we should stay here and study.
Lindsey discribes what happened on her kidnapping. She says she saw the girl from the hospital car park. She took a few steps and was taken.
She woke up somewhere, her brain floaty etc. Someone was questioning her about None. The floaty brain thing didnt work so they went to knifes and cutting. That didnt work. So then they drugged her and she said who knows what. Then they dropped her at ruths.
Two people questioning her, a man and a woman. The woman questioned her. They knew stuff about lindsey and who she was and where has been. They knew she was an addict and they used it against her. She was someone who knew lindsey from her previous life.
They are powerful. Lindsey only walked a few paces away and they took her. They can play with senses. "I felt the knife go into my skin."
Cas tells Lindsey that shes there for her.
Lindsey tells Rene that she has a thing about people drugging her.
Olga tells us about her memories comeing back and her encounter with the black spider (a mechromancer). She says the two kids in the car thing is the Black Spider from her encounter in Russia. He's a terrible occultist who can build constructs from scratch or take people over.
We talk about what we're going to do and Olga and Cas agree about finding out about the Heart of All Sorrows and using to hit back at whoever is screwing with us. Rene isnt so sure, he wants to know what 'his motivation' is.
People start to talk, but something happens. Cas thrashes round on the bed, hurting herself. Olga notices the power go out and a boom. Glenn sits up. Olga comes over and tries to find out whats wrong with Cas. Rene tries to help and cas tries to headbutt him, but cant quite reach.
Lindsey's travel to the bathrooom tends to clear out as the panic outside catches her attention.
Olga hears gunshots and starts to look for weapons.
Cas stuggles out "power out... explosion.. medical center.. sniper team..."
Cas tries to sit up and cant. Glenn gets her stuff. Glenn only gets the clothes and Cas shouts in frustration about her knife. Lindsey gives cas a knife. Rene goes to get the fire extinguisher from the bathroom.
Cas says "leave me, Ill slow them down."
People say "that isnt an option, go!".
Olga is Mz Chill in the situation. We get to the bottom and talk about how to drop down. Olga does something weird and frantic and lowers Cas down the fire escape bit. Lindsey catches her at the bottom. It doesnt hurt as much as it should.
Guy comes running up the stairs. Eveyone except Rene ends up on their ass. Continue down the stairs and get to the car. Rene asks, "How come he had a gun?" Cas wacks her forhead. Lindsey realises that he was part of the sniper group.
"What was he running from." Cas asks.
Lindsey growls in frustration and grabs the knife from Cas and cuts herself. Glenn and Rene babble. "That must have hurt!."
"Thats the idea" Cas offers helpfully. Gee, white bread losers.
We get to the car. Olga has the keys. We head off to the Troika, the russian place we last stayed at.
Andre gets 3 xp for killing that Kobol.
