Campbell and Lindsey drive off. The dog is panting. Campbell chats to Lindsey, but Lindsey doenst sound too stable. She's just rocking backwards and forwards and generally not coping. Campbell babbles some crap to try and quiet Lindsey, but it's not really what she's good at. Lindsey says she doenst want to be alone.
Fair enough, really.
They get to the station to pick up Glenn. Campbell does some stuff on Max the dog and he seems less noticable. Infact he even gets into the police station unnoticed. Weird, eh?
Campbell uses her cop smarts to get Glenn out as fast as possible and, oh boy, is Glenn not popular with the boys and girls in blue (black for the us :).
Glenn is snoring like a train and his cell mates are happy to see the back of him.
Glenn rants to Campbell how he is "gunna beat this thing" and he also "wants a burger". Glenn gets his his personal effects and they head out with a little pushing from Campbell. Glenn is obviously popular judging by the number of wolfwhistles and other sounds.
Rene is in a ball in the corner. Olga gets the phone off him and checks the [judy tells me to put in 'orson chews on the notebook'] last numbers but doesnt get anything. Olga redirects Cas' phone number to her new phone.
Rene goes to sleep. Olga rests, and thinks back about the day and forces herself to stay awake and....... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Rene has some sleepy dreams about being smothered. Olga dreams about a Charlies Angels version of the day. She's fighting off the army of mechanics when someone comes into the room.
Hold on... thats real life. Rene and Olga wake up and flash back to the real world.
There is an old guy at the door to the hospital room. The old guy say "I just have a message to deliver."
Olga says "A message? From who?"
"I was hired anonymously. The message is in two parts. The first part is to Olga. 'we are aware of your situation and we will do everything that we can to rectify it'."
"The second part?"
"Once I give the 2nd part Ill have to go, so Id like to have a chat, just personally before I do that."
Rene says, "Who are you".
"My name is Dermot."
Olga says "I take it you're from the sleepers?"
"Nononono. You missunderstand me. Im just an independant operative."
"We dont quite get it." someone quips.
"I deliver messages to the letter. Im a anoymous messanger. I dont take sides, I just deliver messages."
They chat for a bit. Rene doesnt quiet understand things. Dermot chats about Olga's background and her being from the USSR.
Rene says "We arnt really in the mood. Give us the second part and get of here."
Dermot smiles a cheeky kinda smile and offers "I could do a Divination for you."
"Ok, now Im interested. Im looking for a missing friend."
Dermot goes and gets some tea to do the divination. Rene drinks. Dermot says "You have email? Your email is very important."
Rene nods and is quiet. He thinks about it for a while and then asks a second question, but Dermot says its harder to answer a second question so Rene doesnt push her luck.
Dermot asks who Cas is.
Olga asks about how Dermot's mysterious employers found him. He turns out to be a hired hand. Dermot seems to be able to find and deliver messages to people. It's his skill to find people from descriptions or names.
People chat abit about Dermots skill etc.
Rene wants to deliver a message to Alex Able, but Dermot isnt keen to do it. Olga wants a message to None, and Dermot says he can probably do it, but that it would be hard and thus expensive.
To find him in the future, ask around at local contacts and ask for 'Dermot the Messanger'. Rene gets him to contact "Michelle Sanders" to tell her to 'contact Rene' they chat about payment, but decide on cash. Rene offers $1000 but Dermot wont take any more than $200.
Rene goes to pay, but remembers that Cas took the money. He goes and gets the money back off Cas (leaving half) and Rene pays the guy.
Rene considers hiring the guy to contact 'the heart of all sorrows'. Dermot doesnt seem sold on the idea without a wad of cash upfront. Maybe its the way Rene tells it.
"The second part of the message is to Olga and it is a follows, 'Chehe Seleke Formica' (or something that Liam took the time to look up ;)" Olgas head explodes inwards. All these memory flood back into head. Olga shuts down and freezes. Rene goes to catch Olga before she hits the floor and the Messanger is gone.
Rene presses the panic button and gets some help for Olga. Fortunatly Rene knows the nurse and he gets his leg wound checked out on the sly.
Glenn is still ranting about getting internal affairs to look into his brutal treatment. Campbell smooths it over subtley by stopping at a Burger Queen. They get some drive through. Glenn is freaking out Lindsey.
Lindsey tenses to slap Glenn but that brings clarity and her powers return. Glenn keeps ranting, but its a little better for atleast Lindsey. Campbell is worried about Glenn.
Everyone returns and Rene has his pants down. [Sadly Cas is still out so no narky comments.]
Roll sanity.
Glenn is ranting about his horrible experiance. Steve is changing Rene's dressing. Olga is still out. Rene fills people in on what happens, but not really clearly. All typical really.
Campbell wants to get Glenn looked at, but by the time they bicker, Glenn has fallen asleep. Glenn spills his milkshake.
Introductions to Steve. Rene tells people to get the dog out of the hospital. Campbell and Lindsey go outside. Steve finishes looking at people. Campbell and Lindsey come back in (with the dog).
Rene tries to be nice to Lindsey and get her checked out. Rene offers Lindsey some drugs but she freaks out and it leaves Rene confused. Rene doesnt push it any further.
Rene chats to Campbell about Dermot. "We had a visitor."
"What did he do to Olga?"
"He spoke russian. He was a messanger. He works for an organisation helping Olga. I asked him to contact Michelle." He fills people in on what happened with Cas etc. They decide to check out the other guy who got hit. He's on the critical list. Oh joy. Well atleast he wont talk.
Cambpell goes to 'get a soda'. After a moment, Lindsey freaks out and runs out to find Campbell. Someone stops Lindsey and stops her about the dog. Still no sign of Campbell. Lindsey is freaking out. She convinces Rene to look for Campbell. They rush off. There is a ringing sound that people ignore. Looking round they dont find Campbell on any floor. There is an alarm for the floor they just left.
Lindsey accepts that Campbell has gone. Going back to check on the room, it seems Cas has had an episode.
Rene gets Steve to check for Campbell but she isnt here. The car is still there.
Lindsey tries to reach out go Campbell and gets jack. Lindsey has a sore head and is beating herself up about it. She falls asleep.
Leaving only Rene, what with Cas, Glenn, Lindsey and Olga out cold and Campbell missing.
Rene goes and does a ritual to find Campbell in the bathroom. Rene stays awake and gets nothin'. What a loser. He tries again and then falls onto the floor in a heap. Its all too much. And the idea that what Lindsey saying about Campbell being taken and tortured might actually be true. He slumps and sleeps.
Everyone wakes up and noone is missing. Glenn, Rene, Campbell, Lindsey, Olga and Cas.
[From now on Campbell doesnt exist.]
