Olga and Rene talk abotu where we're going. Rene isnt massivly helpful. :)
Driving to our destination, Campbelll misses a turn off, but Lindsey and olga save the day. People catch up again at the Dan Ryan Express and off we all drive again. A running commentry is provided by cell phone.
Driving on, Rene is interupted by the 'low on gas' voice in his car. Noone is surprised.
Driving along, there is a loud clunk from the boot. Cas starts and shouts for Rene to stop. Rene slams on the breaks and Cas is thrown around in the back seat. Rene screams to a halt in the emergency lane.
Behind the Lexus, Campbell runs over something but she too manages to fishtail into the emergency lane.
Cas is almost panicing as she jumps out of the car and kicks open the boot. The thing is gone!
Rene gets out of the car, but cas has started up the lane, searching. Rene smacks his forhead at the dented boot. He reaches in and searches round, but only manages to get blood all over his sleeves. [That may have been later]
Campbell is out of the car and searching also. She doent find anything and is soon joined by Lindsey.
Cas sees some scratches on the road, but Rene just looks at her like she is insane.
Campbell is worried that the cops and tries to talk Rene into leaving. Campbell tries to return to the van, but notices that it is locked and she has lost the keys! Weird.
Campbell is convinced that robomichael is inside the van!
Rene finds Campbells keys on the road. With the van unlocked, Lindsey bursts into the van to check on Michelle who was still out cold inside. Rene comes over and is given a full diagnosis by Lindsey.
Cas is in the front seat, checking the glovebox and under the seats for Michael. Campbell is driving again and Olga slides into the drivers seat on the Lexus.
After checking out Michelle, Rene checks out Cas' bruised back, somewhat less helpfully. (Hey, nice tat!)
Rene notices the blood oozing from the lexus boot. Olga drives ahead. Olga pulls up to the toll booth and pays the $20. She gets a piece of paper that tells her to go to room 325 in the hospital.
Off we drive again.
Pulling over at a gas station, Glenn pumps the gas while Rene gets the keys back off Olga. Rene then goes and hides his bloody shirt sleeve and tries to get the keys to the 'can', but fails. Glenn cleans the car and wipes the windows, but doesnt look nearly as sexy Cas would, reaching over and leaning on the window to clean them. Anyone inside the car must make san rolls.
Rene goes back in and pays for the gas and everyone goes back to their origional seating.
Drive to the hospital and park in the local car park.
Going into the hospital, Rene tries to talk his way in, but is lead off by Lindsey who knows the level of service to expect.
Walking to room 325, we pass lots of people piled everywhere and Rene finds it totally unacceptable! :) Finding the room, we go in and look for ceasar. The Janitor rolls up and gives us the keys to his jeep and directions to the water filtration plant.
Leaving Glenn and Michelle in the cars we head off.
