Background.

This is all the shhhhhhhhhhhhh, its secret that those other evil players dont get to know. All this stuff about her background and ideas for the evil Mr Liam to use, or not to use, as the case may be.

So, people should feel free to send me ideas here or Mr Liam should be reading this and telling me what bits to ignore and what to make more detail on.

Cassiopeia Daisy Clayton.

Family

• Father: Anthony William Clayton.
  Cas' father was the all American boy and football star. After high school he joined the air force. From there he became more and more conservative as he rapidly rose through the ranks.

  With the limited circle of base staff and families, Cas' father has been getting less and less variation in his intelectual diet. Soon the family was run along the lines of a '50s family with Anthony at the head.

• Mother: Lynn Clayton
  Cas' mother was very happy when she married Anthony, they were high school sweethearts and everything was going wonderfully. But as they moved from base to base, something wedged between the two of them. She tried to talk things through, and the birth of Anthony Jr seemed to help. But then the base changes started again and Lynn dropped into a Valium filled daze.
• Brother: Anthony "Tony" Clayton Jr
  Tony is Anthony's pride and joy. He is on the football team, just like his Dad. He is popular, like his dad. He is head of the family, just like his dad (when Dad isnt round that is). He is spoilt rotten by his dad and gets away with murder (although not literally, I hope). Tony is a bully, working on everyone in the family except for Dad.
• Brother: Willy "Billy" Clayton
  Billy is always trying to live up to the performances of his older brother, but sadly he doesnt seem to be exactly as athleticly talented as his brother, but he tries. He follows big bro lead and, when Tony is picking on someone other than him, he joins in. Sometimes he feels bad about it, but Dad and Tony tell him thats wrong so eventually he learned to keep quiet about that.

Cas was born a year after Billy and two and a half years after Tony. Family life for Cas wasnt great as she was pushed into a 50's daughter roll. She hated it but was too young to fight her destiny.

When she got to school she started to find that some of the people in the school had lives that sounded better than hers. Soon she started skipping skool :) and convincing some of these kids to skip school. They started hanging out together, but it didnt go unnoticed for long and soon she was in heaps of trouble.

She rebelled harder and harder and there was more and more friction and fighting at home. Soon she started skipping school and her grades started dropping. This made for larger and larger arguments at home and soon Cas decided it was splitsville.

By the time she learned of her mothers death she was two states away.

She arrived in the big city and decided to make her fortune. Sadly as a poor uneducated kid in the big city she just got taken for a ride a number of times. Soon she fell in with some gang kids in the slum that she was living in.

• Trouble reading.
  Cas has trouble reading because she skipped classes at school or was daydreaming through the classes or 'sick at home'.
• Inabilty to commit.
  Cas loves the energy of relationships but has problems with commitment and long term relationships. 'Find a couple of studs, use 'em and dump 'em.

What she needs/comments:

• The psychic vampire thing is that she is a black hole for people's energy. She takes all she can get and doesnt give much back. Im happy to drop/change that, it just seemed cool.
• Character links?
  • NAZ / Maybe naz's character crashes at her place when she is out bouncing at clubs? Maybe she is protective of naz's character? Street person naz meets street person me. "Back off and leave the girl alone or crawl back home"
  • Judy / Was her father a cop? Maybe she just happens to have a nightstick and some cash and credit card numbers she found on "someone". Hows about walking round one night, spots some old git being kicked on the ground. Wacks his attackers. Takes the cash from all their wallets, valuables, discovers police badge on old dude. Puts back his valuables and helps him recover. Gets his name put on her record incase she ever gets in trouble "Refer to Blah before charging" and thinks "Great! Get out of jail free!" (old dude was judy's dad investigating stuff himself or something?)

    If he wasnt a cop then maybe the idea still stands and there are some details of her in his documents and papers or maybe my character has a phone number to call if she ever needs police help. :) "[answering machine message] Hello? Hey old guy. You said if I ever needed help with the police you could swing it. Pick up. S8@#&$! Time to pay the piper, granddad. Call me on 555-3422."

  • Andre / Renee If he ever came into her world then I think she would latch onto him and start milking him for all he is worth (probably quite a bit). If she picked up that he was paranoid about death then maybe she would realise can offer him protection (or threaten him ;). "Well I'm going to break someone's arm... I'm a little short on cash at the moment... who's it going to be? Bidding starts at $100..."
  • Jo / I think that she could see Jo's character as cool although a bit of a coward. "If ya want it, just TAKE it!!! Dont plan lady, just wack him and take the f#@*$&ing thing!"

    "She's got cash and respect. I'll have some of that action!" Some of the junk that she finds could well be flogged for lots of cash and thats always a win ;)

• I guess the buffy power that would be most useful is the rapid healing/take lots of punishment one. But given that you run the damage then thats cool for whatever you want to do with that ;). Maybe cryptonite makes her weak again ;) hehehehe :)
• Background: Well the "flying woman" thing (amazon? rage?) sounds fine. Im happy to leave that in your court (I think that losing her freedom would sort of push her fear buttons, so exactly what her background or reason for her 'powers' is is up to you :) *tag* :)
