Cas's apartment

Cas and her little gang of hangers-on share a one bedroom apartment in the slumsville USA. Cas used to hang with a local gang, but she recently split and set up on her own. A few hangers on followed and set up the apartment.

Cas' apartment is the best that she could find in the local area. It is run by a slum lord, its in a dangerous neighborhood, its best not to be alone in the hallways after dark, but its Cas' place.

Recently Cas has been having visits from Fixer in his flash new car, his new ice, Rolex, cell phone and flash designer rags. Since then Cas has been thinking that maybe she is in the wrong line of work. Maybe its time to move up in the food chain........

The apartment

The whole apartment has the stained damp wood motif on the walls with a light covering of stained old carpet topped off with with a musty dank smell. There are cockroaches and, if you are lucky, rats.

Living Room
Kitchen (fridge, sink, bench). TV and sofa. Table. Two mattresses on the floor. There is a barred window that looks out onto the down stairs of the fire escape. The curtains are dusty and sun bleached.
Bathroom
The bathroom contains a sink, a toilet and a stained bath/shower. There is a small window on the wall with broken frosted glass.
Bedroom
The bedroom contains a bed, a split wood wardrobe and a small desk and chair. There is a barred window and stained curtains.

Bedroom

The bedroom is wonderful damp wall, single swinging yellow/brownish light type motif. Finished with a thread bear carpet.

The bedroom has a single bed with shoes and some boxes underneath it. The cupboard has some boxes on top that contain some of "TF's junk". The cupboard has Cas's clothes and junk in as well as Sarah's other dress hanging up. The desk contains some reading material for both Sarah and Cas, so it ranges from simple to read up to real books.

Cas sleeps here most nights (except when Sarah is in retreat mode, then she sleeps in the front room).

Bathroom

The bathroom has a skanky stained bath with a dripping shower nozzle. The sink is split and cant be filled too much. Think manky, damp, dripping bathroom from hell. Matched only by the slightly squicky damp carpet.

Living room

The living room has three areas. The overall decoration continues the same damp manky motif.

The apartment is carpeted (in a different type of carpet in the bedroom naturally) and the walls are unpainted. The wood on the walls and floor is stained with damp and mildew. The room is dingy and dirty.

The kitchenette area has a sink that is dirty and broken. The fridge is a very old 60's type model and hums constantly. There is a table that has a white/brown table cloth.

The TV area has a cheap TV with a dusty smelling sofa with odd cushions. There is a box here with half a wooden door on it for a table.

The final area has two mattresses (which both smell slightly damp) that are huddled round the electric heater. TF and Sarah sleep here most nights.
