Mary attends classes, carrying the knife with her in her backpack.

Mary watches videos with the gang and eats pizza.

Mary is woken bu a thud as something falls in her room. Paniced, she checks the knife, but it's not where she left it. Sitting up and looking round she notices that her backpack has falled from the desk and spilt the contents all along the floor.

There on the floor is the open empty knife box! Oh no!

Mary sits up and she sees something rush out of her room. She gets up and gives chase. It's like a big black cat.

Mary follows it round the hall, but cant see it. She sees someone heading off to the to the showers, but he doesnt seem suspicious. Noticing some loose tiles she jumps up into the ceiling and follows.

She gets to the lift and notices some scratches and webs. Climbing up the lift ladder she gets to the top and notices more more more webs, like everywhere with lots of things stuck in the webs. Pens, homework, socks, hats, bracelets etc.

Mary crawls in the narrow 'spider lair' of a web and goes looking for the knife.

She sees something move up ahead and gives chase. Its moving faster than she is and she cant turn round in the roof without being gooped bigtime. She notices grit or dirt or something after a while.

Soon she is round and caught up with the skeletal black oiled doggie from hell. Mary crawls forward towards the dripping evil maw of mary munching and suddenly her light starts to give out. The doggie leaps and mary stabs with her biro and thumps with her light, but the thing bits her hand and makes off with her torch.

Mary crawls off and starts to feel sleepy. Panicing, she puts on a burst of speed, manking up, and finally gets back to the elevator. She is crawling down, hand bleeding, when a shape appears above her, sniffs where she has been and dissapears again.

Mary heads back, takes a shower and then sleeps. Annoyed, she finds that the knife was under the bed all the time.

16 Sep 2000, Saturday 5:33pm, Jaydes house

Jayde goes looking through the paper for a list of people who have passed away. Finding the likley candiates, she makes a list and checks it for who's been naughty and nice.. errr, i mean probably a vamp.

Heading off to meet Michael, they both chat as Jayde walks them through the graveyard.

"So, do this often?"

"Yeah, there are these vampires who rise from their graves. They dont like the cross and you kill them by driving the stake through their heart. Oh and sunlight, although thats not likley now. Oh and they look like normal people, until they feed. Oh and the best way to find one is to punch them because then they get angry and go all 'grrr' Vamp face."

"Uhhuh. Where do you find all this stuff out?"

"Yeah, and there are these Watchers, this secret organisation from Britain, they help me and have lots of books and my psychologist is really my watcher who tells me how to kill the vampires."

"How many are there? Slayers I mean?"

"Just me. Im the only one in the whole world. Oh except for the other one, but shes just a mistake really."

"Ooooooooooooook. *pause* Who sharpens your stakes then?"

"Oh, I do."
