Dave faced Jonathan. "Neat."
Joanthan pointed to the fire sticks. "Can I?"
Dave held the stick out to Joanthan. "Sure." Dave finally blinked like he was just waking up and looked down.
"Err.."
Jonathan looked down and noticed that he was naked. "Can I get a coat?"
Dave grabs a coat and hands it over.
Jonathan tries to fire twirl and its pretty easy now. The roar of the fire is comforting, if anything. Having spun for a while, Jonathan reaches out to touch the flame with his hand. He tries to extinguish the flame, but it doesnt seem to work too well, although his hand doesnt burn.
Jonathan puts the stick aside and points to a fresh stick. "Can I have a go?"
Dave hands the stick to Jonathan. "Sure."
Jonathan constrates on trying to light the end. Eventually, a small flame flicks off the end of the new stick.
"...you want that I dip that?"
Jonathan smiles and feels better about his powers. Hmmm. Suddenly he notices that he can sense the heat or something from the people around him. They just seem to glow. Jonathan wonders about setting fires and looks round for something to burn.
Library.
Jonathan starts to head off. "Can I keep the coat?"
Dave replies, "Sure man. Can you show me how to do that?"
Something in Jonathan's mind whispers "disciple".
Jonathan heads over to the library and tries to get in but one of the staff stops him because he isnt wearing shoes.
He sets the card index on fire as a distraction and heads inside. Once inside he finds the Great Earthquake/Fire exhibit and starts to burn it. Once he starts that he heads outside and starts to burn the library through the windows.
By the time he has got to the top floor he is starting to get a feel for burning things and controling the fire.
Jonathan starts to walk home and on the way has an internal battle between his good angel who is saying 'yukky, burny. hurt people.' and the evil voice saying 'but wasn't it so cool!'. The two voices bicker it out in his head but there isnt a resolution.
Arriving home, Jonathan sneaks inside and heads up to his bedroom. As he steps in, he feels a gun against his head and spot's Conrad out the side of his vision.
David rolls up to the hospital and sort of ignores Alex.
Mary and Alex come in and Mary tells about how she found Faith in the bath tub and wanting to use the knife to heal herself and mary taking the knife and calling the paramedics and them comeing and saving faith and bringing her to hospital and keeping the knife and going to destroy it and things.
"I dont think we should destroy the knife" Jayde offers.
"Why not? It sucks life. It's like a vampire!" Mary counters.
"But if you do, she'll want it back when she gets up and you'll be first on the list."
"But its eeeeeeevil"
"If the knife is evil, then it might be affecting her. We should destroy it." adds Alex.
"Nope. It's what we used to kill Orme."
"Yeah, but she had to kill to charge it. We cant just kill random people."
"She was going to kill me with it!"
"You were proably just in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"Eep!"
"Err, I dont think we should just kill people to charge the knife. It's wrong!" Alex comments.
"Whatever." says Jayde crossing her arms.
"Maybe we should chat about it later? When everyone has had some rest. I mean Faith is out of it for the moment, so we dont have to decide now, right?"
Gemma has unsettled dreams and eventually walks down a bright hall and into her room. It's nice and comfy.
Leda rolls up and tries to convince Gemma that she has so much to live for, but Gemma seems unimpressed. Leda tries the old 'if you die now it's needless' line, but Gemma counters with 'you died.'
Leda goes 'um.'
Leda tries the 'you have so much to live for' line, but Gemma isnt buyin'.
Outside is noisy and dank and in here is bright and warm.
