I was just wondering last night if Jonathan would/could go
back to the scoobies and say 'im sorry' and if they'd take
him back. They'd probably want to take the elemental out of
him, and it wouldnt go for that. Hmmmm. :)

way I see it - Jonathon, much like the TV character he's based on - is
mostly a pretty powerless guy who takes all kindsa crap from those even in
his social circle. and a very powerful being has said, "hey, don't take that
shit no more, come join with me and we'll we powerful together"
well, it was a tough choice.
however, Jonathon is definitely having trouble reconciling the obvious
potential for utter eeevul. he's not so much an evil person, just doesn't
generally care for most people around him, since they don't give a crap
about him :)

Arden: well, he was a devious sonofabitch who, frankly, was killing people
against their will (from what Jonathon saw). Never liked him anyway.
Jayde: kill her and maybe a _nice_ slayer will pop up next time. Have you
maybe noticed that Jon can be a little petty sometimes? Perhaps a little
disconnected from reality as such? He doesn't want the slayer dead, of
course, the "kill jayde" thought is mostly childish impulses finally given
form.

I didnt see him as Evil (just corrupted by the power to make 'go away' actually
happen to people :) (poor impulse control :)
Still that can lead to 'evil' :)


Thats why I think if he went back and said sorry, then they'd give him shit for
a while but be ok with it. They would want to take the elemental out though.
The elemental wouldt go for that (although going back to your friends would be
cool, I mean they'll all be dead in like 80 years so its not worried. Meh, 80
years). It'd wanna leap out before it got bound again, but jonathan'd know that
and it'd know about the gang's probable attitudes from him

oh, I'm sure he'll realise it was all a horrible mistake, really soon. I'm
sure the elemental isn't just along for the ride - it's going to want him
to Do Things.
at that point he'll run back to the gang and ask for them to get the damn thing outta him ;)
I expect Jayde will want to get it out using Faith's knife :)
