well there isnt much in Alex's books on becoming a slayer.
The watchers just
seem to hang round waiting for one to roll up :). They
locate class 3's via
magic etc and watch em when a class 1 carks.

and death passes on the possession and you lose the ability
to change others.

the question is, is Jayde and was faith really a class 1,
maybe they are somthing else, a class 4 that only occours
when a class 1
doesn't die properly,
maybe the killing of the class 2 alows the class 4 to become
a class1,


eg problems with prophacey being spread between slayers,
eg Buffy as oldest class 2 get the destiny, and faith/Jayde
are just super
heroes unyill she dies.

Well the council seems of the view that power/knowledge
doesnt accumulate throug
h slayers so they seeem to be different entities. It doesnt
seem to be
posession, but rather a change in the closens body
chemistry.

Intersting questions and ones Im sure the council is worried
about.
Or do prophesy's about the slayer apply only to Jayde now
(given that
Buffy died at year1 end and thus 'lost' her slayerness to
the next) or as
you say is she still the target slayer.

problem is explaining why clinical death of a class 1 will
turn a class 3
into a class 1. and the class 1 into a class 2.

Back to mary for a bit...  im curious about tempting her to

Given that there will be heaps of indications on magic books
that black magic
can give you groovey powers, would mary be tempted? What's
her view on
conrad and faith? (morally and 'should we put up with them?)


white magic is structured limited and hard. Black magic is
wayyyyy easier...

Well Mary would love to learn to fly,
Vampires are vunerable to fire, so setting somthing on fire
would be useful
Finding some SCA wako who will forge a sword for faith,
(maybe with whatever
runes or alloys that Mary find to add to it)


Contolling time would be very useful for studiing, and a
protection for
Casey.

faith: hows mary feeling on the mary/casey/faith front?
Whats she
gunna do about that?


glitch: its hard  to say if he's good/evil. Mostly he seems
to be
obsessed about his own survival (still :) but he hasnt
wanted to end
the world that you can tell. so mary's still chatting to him
happily?


books: access to alex's books is way more limited now that
alex watches the
wall from teh office at night. Your going to have to do it
under her nose
whch makes it harder.


flying: maybe. Willing to sacrifice anything? Mouse? rat?
bat?
fire: well conrad knows fire magic. Given teh stuff that
alex is researching
at the moment on tophet, you might be able to learn a black
class create
flame. (Its way easier than the white hat version).

sword forging will take quite a while im thinkin'. Alteast a
week yeah.

Arden's magic seems different again....


using WW mage: white hats use ritual/hedge magic, black hat
and arden type
seems more whitewolf mage. Protection against conrad might
be workable, but
you'd have to mark your body for it (with texta runes etc).
Willing to do
that?
