Glitch calling....

Wednesday night, Orme's squad and Glitch's haven

Glitch has caught up with some of the local Vampire gangs who work for Orme and they have him slumming it with a whole lot of other newbies in an abandoned (and probably condemmed) appartement building.

The vampires who are organising this little sleep out are working for Orme and are keeping most of the vamps in line with 1) threats of violence 2) application of violence.

Early in this night (i think its tuesday night) the slum house is upset the the arrival of Orme and a couple of his buddies.

Physically, Orme is about 6'1'' but he looks much larger because of his heavy muscled bulk. He moves smoothly into the center of the room and looks around, seeming to measure his surroundings. His eyes scan over all the vampires in the room, but they dont really linger on any of you.

He speaks quickly with the local gang and they start herding people out of the room until there us just Orme, one of his goons, Glitch and three other young vamps.

"Brethren, I am Orme, leader in this city. I must apologise for your treatement these days past. I have a sacred task that I must complete, and I can allow nothing will stand in it's the way." He laughs, a surprisingly warm laugh, "I could give you a speech about how your are now immortal, and a few days is but little to you, but I remember the eagerness of my youth and I am truly sorry you have been confinded these past nights, rather than reveling in your new form. All I can offer in my own defence is my word that my works here offer a chance to make this place truly a paradise for our kind."

He pauses and looks around, examining each of you in some detail.

"I need some help in my task and you are the youngest amongst us. I require the assistance of a human for a task. The task is simple, it is to locate and retrieve an object for us. It will require mayhapse two hours work, but it require someone who will ask no questions and one who can do this task without asking too many questions. I will be greatly pleased with any who aid me in this task and their shall be rewards. If you know anyone from before your rebirth who can be trusted with such a task speak up, or if you wish to speak to me privately, I shall be here for the next hour."

The younger vamps all exchange confused and suspicious looks as the doors open and the other vampires are brought back in.

"Yo, Ormeguy. Whats happenin' here, man? Why the @*#&$ are we bein' kept in here? We all hidin' from the Slayer? Since when did you give a damn about what happens to us?"

"Ah, yes, the Slayer. She is not to be harmed. This Slayer is integral to our plans and any who harm her answer to me. As to why you are being kept here, it is because we are dealing with forces that you are not yet ready to face. There are forces working against us here and I am not yet ready to commit you to the battle. When the time comes, you will have a chance to join us and share the victory or leave, if you do not wish to share in the spoils."

There is general mumbled discontent by some of those present.

Questions:

• So, whats glitch do? Keep quiet? Offer Neo's services? Ring the scoobies? :)
• If one of the younger unhappy vamps whispered that he'd had enough of the slayer killin' his mates. What would Glitch do about it? If it became clear that it was Faith not Jayde they were talking about? (Its pretty obvious that the vamps here think there is 1 slayer not 2 in town). Do you enlighten them? Do you call the scoobies?
