Arriving at the Glade to make sure Gemma is ok, Jayde is surprised to find Arden and Gemma talking. She clears her throat and they both turn, somewhat guilty looks on their faces.
"Jayde... er... hi. Arden, he's a mage. He can help us."
"Riiiiiiiiiiiight."
"Its ok, I told him you're the Slayer. He's looking after the wall."
Jayde spins and walks off.
Gemma and Arden exchange looks. "Well that didnt go all that well."
Jayde storms off and calls Faith to train. They start to train but it quickly devolved into a punching match.
Jayde is more on the offensive this time and that seems to go much better. Jayde goes with what feels right and seems to land more blows on Faith than she expected to. Much punching and stuff later, Jayde finds herself knocked to the floor just like in her dream the previous night.
Faith leans down to help her up, but Jayde remembers the Primal's words and instead flips Faith over without warning. Both Slayers leap to their feet and turn, ready to fight. After a moment of tension, they lower their guard and both smile.
Later while changing, with her blouse 1/2 over her head, Jayde's instincts go off and she knows that Faith is behind her. Part of her mind flashes to Faith's jacket and she knows their is a weapon there. Part of her brain screams for her to grab it and part warns her to stop Faith getting it. Calming down and finishing getting dressed, she turns.
"Yeah?"
Faith looks edgie. "Err, see you tomorrow then?"
"Sure."
Faith leaves, but stops at the door. "You had any weird dreams? I dreampt I was on fire. Not being burnt, but I was on fire."
"Some guy came to the office today and mentioned the chosen one being burnt in a sacrifice."
"Oh great."
Gemma is hiding out trying to avoid Jayde.
Jayde calls Hoshi and hears the news about Belinda and Dustin being in a car accident. She organises with Hoshi to go and visit Dustin in hospital.
Jayde calls Belinda and gets the goss on the argument before the accident (although not the cause if I remember right).
Hoshi and Jayde go mall shopping.
