Casey is just returing to sleep after Mary slipped out for classes. Its that nice floatly sleep/wake period when the nextdoor neibours dog starts barking. (Casey has had problems with it barking before but it's been good the last couple of weeks). There is muttered cursing from elsewhere in the house.
Rolling over and pulling a pillow over his head casey almost gets off to sleep when Faith shouts out "Shut that *#@$&@#*@#$ing @#*$&#@er up!". The dog stops barking and quiet returns.
About 45 seconds later there is a loud knocking at the front door. Sighing and knowing that it is not to be, Casey rolls out of bed to get the door.
Opening the door and wiping sleep from his eyes, Casey is greeted by two guys in overalls with a 'Electric Warehouse' truck parked in the driveway.
One of them looks at his clipboard and asks "Delivery? Home theater system for, errr, Wilkins?"
"Um, yeah, hangon for just one second" Casey closes the door and thumbs the intercom. "Faith, did you buy a home theatre system as someone called Wilkins?"
"Huh? Err, yeah, thats me. Err, it's Tuesday? Ah, @#*()$&. Yeah. I.. I sort of went on a spending spree last week. Never really had money before and, well there's all this cool stuff. Figured we could use a big tv or something."
"Ok, come get it" Casey rips the door open again and smiles in an intense way. "Yep, its hers. How much space do I need to make?"
"Ok, Larry, start wheelin' 'er in. Um, lets have a look at the space. Installation 'ill probably take a couple of hours."
Thus is Casey somewhat kept busy for most of the morning, helping set up the amps and cables and generally upgrade the house.
I suspect its a case of watch them install everything and then when they set the clock on the dvd player "Oh shit! Is that the real time?" and bolt out of the house to Uni. Find Mary, apologise for missing lunch :)
