The twins ask their father for the earrings, but he doesnt feel like lending them out. Jayde plans on borrowing them, making copies and then destroying them (becuase they dont seem to be the anchor, but rather something that interfears with it, whatever it is). Their father finishes his tour and goes off downstairs.
Gemma tries on the earrings and is attempting her aura vision. Gemma eventually gets her Aura stuff working again and summons her mum back. They tinker in and out of the room, with Leda seeming to be stuck in the past in the room. Jayde's finally had enough and storms off to beat up Faith, err, I mean practice.
Gem takes Leda out downstairs, only to have her collapse on the stairs for a while and say how painful that time was for her. Their agnst session is interupted by David going back into his office. Dragging Leda off, Gem gets her back to the bedroom.
Gemma drops the story in Leda's lap and they talk. Leda rembers very little, but she her links seem to be the from the better times in her life, meeting and falling in lurrrrrv with David and her little community with the bookshop.
Gem asks about Cassy and Leda says that they were close, but it wasnt destined to work out and that she died. The time in LA wasnt really great for Leda.
Jayde calls Faith who comes over and they spa, doing more leaping into combat and dodging.
The conversation rolls over to tactics. "You wanna learn how to fight multiple vamps or your end of level baddy?" asks Faith.
"Um both eventually, I guess. Start with the vamps first."
Faith and Jayde talk tactics. Faith recommends "attacking with surprise and killing often and early, unless you are outnumbered then run. Thats where the rolls are useful. They get you into combat quick our out and on your feet."
They fight for a while before the conversation rolls over to Orme. Faith ask "Crusader, eh? Been fighting for a long time then, eh?"
"Yep. Swords too I guess."
Faith gets a gleam in her eye. "Swords eh? What we need is... err... Where would I get a sword?"
Jayde worries that Faith is going to try and take Orme alone, so she finishes the practice and then goes to talk to Alex......
