4 Sep 2000, Monday (back in time a bit)

Jayde, Jonathan and Casey start laying the cable. Its boring work in the tunnels. Between them Casey and Jonathan do most of the work and Jayde just stands round making sure that nothing bad like a rat kills the other two.

After wiring the Earth science building to the north, people search for new cameras when suddenly the Tower bells start going off. Looking round for the weirdness, the alarms start to go off in the main library. Jayde eventually notices the smell of smoke. And people start to pile out of the library.

Soon the cops and the fire brigade roll up. Time passes. Jon and Casey just watch until eventually they tell Casey to go and check out the tower. He goes up and down and up and down before coming back and saying "That was coooooooool! Oh and I saw nothing weird."

Jonathan shakes his head.

Jayde notices Arden walking away from the crowd. She decides to pop up and say hi.

They chit chat for a bit. Arden is writing up. He tosses some coins into the reflective pool. Jayde and he go for coffee.

Casey and Jonathan shake their heads and go back to work.

Monday (evening)

Faith and Jayde practice. Faith shows Jayde how to focus her inner cheerleader to skip out of combat.

Faith and Jayde go and have burgers. Faith is jumpy and offers to take the outer patrols.

Monday (later that evening)

Jon stakes out the cameras at the psych building. Jayde patrols and then comes back and sits down and waits.

Gitch comes to the meeting to help experiment with the wall, as asked to by Mary. He seems unhappy when Jayde rocks up and grabs his collar. Things get worse when Conrad rolls up. Conrad casts a ritual to link him with Glitch. Jayde then bounces Glitch against the wall, softly at first, but then harder. Eventually Glitch looks over and tries to scream (and conrad looks over and his mouth opens to scream too) but no scream appears. Eventually Jayde finishes and Glitch breaks free of Conrad. Conrad says "burning sensation, nothing special".

"What the @#*&$*@#$& was that about???!?!? Why couldnt I scream?? WHat the hell was that?"

Conrad reports, "Im done".

"Right. Off you go then Glitch."

Glitch runs for the hills.

Monday (3am)

Faith brings coffee to Jayde.

Later on Jonathan is awoken by the door opening. He hides and peeks out and sees Faith open the door and sneaks towards Alex's office when Jonathan steps out and calls out "Ah, Faith. Good."

"Err, Jonathan, right? Whats up? Monitoring the wall, eh?"

"Yeah. Alex will be along soon."

"Oh, ok. Ill take over if you want."

"Great. See ya."
