Sometime...

Jonathan and Rose go fire twirling.
Rose rings jonathan and says that the fire twirlers are back. Jon is up for it and rushes off to meet her at her house. Helping Rose pack with a useful 'Chuck it all in', they rush off to the park.

When they get there two kids come and grab a 100 off Rose and then go back to the gang. Rose photographs the fire twirling almost obsessivly. Jonathan seems to have snapped less. ONe of the kids comes over and tries to talk ROse and Jon into twirling. Jon's up for it and spins and spins, the fire roaring round his head. The noise, the heat. What a rush.

Going back to Rose, he tries to convince her to twirl, but she gets freaked out and packs up to leave. Jonathan follows and asks whats up. Rose is quiet and when they park outside her house and she sits in the car and just holds the wheel.

"I cant. Fire, it... Im afraid of it. My husband, he died, burnt alive in our home."

"Oh, errr. OK. Thats bad." helpfully offers Jonathan.

4 Sep 2000, Monday

Gem and Jay run downstairs from the attic. They have a breckfast and goto uni.

At the scooby meeting something happens.

Gemma, Mary and Conrad learn the wall spell. Mary gets an understanding of barrier and protecive magic and is all hyped about that.

Mary gets told off by Alex for photocopying the magic books.

Gemma and Alex go in to have a chat about their stalker dad.

Gemma goes home and haves dinner with her dad.
David says that he and Gemma should go out for dinner. They have dinner and after some chitchat about stuff, before david comes out and asks "Its drugs right? Jayde I mean?"

"Err no, she runs a soup kitchen by night."

Gemma asks about mum and stuff. David loves leda still but doesnt see her. He 'almost does', but not quite. Didnt mention upstairs.
