Return of the son of the Metaplot II (oh and some leda crap)

SanFrancisco, 1978 June 4/5, 3am. Night time with local street lighting providing 17.4% illumination except for blocks 2 and 11, which have flickering neon lights which provide 18.3% immulination over 33% of rounds (1 or 2 on a 1d6)

Gemma, as Brad, walks into Nick's flat only to experiance a weird bendie feeling as the room morphs.

Weirdo space, ???

Jayde and Gemma are back looking at each other and Nick has morphed into Leda. She doesnt recognise the twins and is complaining of a head ache and weird trip. (Bad Cassy pills). She asks who the twins are and then goes off for a shower.

Gemma and Jayde morph into Brad and Antony again. There is a knock at the door and then Harva and Cassy turn up (Played by Ken and Richard).

Cassy has brought a present for Leda and takes it in to the bathroom. Gee. They obviously know each other. Gemma seems to object.

Jayde looks round and decides to make some coffee. Cunningly she brings out the sugar and milk for people to mix her own. What a clever girl :).

Leda runs out with a lepoard/cat suit half draped over her and thanks Cassy profusly. She gets dressed in the cat suit, which only helps the consentration level and people start to discuss "The Party".

Leda's phone rings. She answers it and just listens. "Yeah. Uh huh. Yeah. He what? Oooook. Right. Fine."

She goes red and her hands clench into fists. "Im feeling some primal, yet valid emotions here. Can everyone just clear out of my emotional radius please?"

People back away.

Leda picks up a pillow and smashes it against the sofa, the walls and the floor, screaming "masoginistic, dick lead, suit wearing, money grubbing..."

"Who?" asks Gemma/Brad.

"The... the... the owner. Now I know why he wanted a 6 month lease. So I'd clean the place up so he could sell it. Arsehole."

"Why dont you just buy it?"

"With what?!? Bank manager said no. Well ok, he said maybe, but I'd have to go to the 'special business dinner' and even I have morals..... well somewhere. Im screwed."

Uncomfortable silent.

"No. Enough about that. Ignore it. Lets work on this party."

Jungle party? No, too upbeat. Black party? Too down. Pink and Black!? Inspired. Oh and an auction!

Gemma/Brad objects that she/he "wont be sold".

Jayde/Antony counters knowingly with "on the night you'll change your mind".

Leda shudders and grabs her head, "You two have such similar Aura's. So similar and different at the same time. Its so wonderful. You are just soooooo suited."

"Err, right." they both reply.

Back to planning the party. A venue is choses, equipment needs worked out, fliers organised and.... and...

"Jayde? Wake up!"

University of Berkley stakeout, 3 Sep 2000 5:18am

"Jayde? Wake up! Someone's coming!"

Jayde shakes out of her Antony dream and wakes to some damp bushes with Conrad shaking her awake. Great. In the distance is an engine.. a car? No, a bike.

Looking up, she spots a bike comeing closer with a leather clad rider (with helmet) on a japanese sports bike with a blanket covered lump behind the rider tied to the carry rack.

Yay Faith! Errr, actually, she is going rather fast for... noooo!!!!

Faith rides through the wall, but not so for our sack covered friend behind. The vampire activates the wall and there is a big flash of light and the bike is flipped in the air and the passanger, rider and machine itself are flung to the 3 winds.

Jayde leaps up and starts to run forward. The sack unrolls and a man gets unsteadly to his feet its.....

GLITCH!!!!!

Glitch see's Jayde and obviously recognises her! "Dont kill me!!"

"Now why would I do that?" says Jayde in a very unconvincing voice. She moves towards him and he carefully moves forward. Jayde grabs him and pins his arm back.

"Hey!"

"Just a procaution."

Alex checks on Faith who she says will be ok. Conrad and Alex move bike incase Uni Security comes back and Jayde takes Glitch back to the office.

Sunday 3 Sep 2000, Scooby Den, 5:34am

Jayde talks to Glitch and asks what happened.

"I was grabbed about, err, I think it was about a week ago. They turned me into a vampire. I learned to hide in the dirt and that I burnt so I worked out the vampire part."

"They were after me in particular. I was visiting my friends Derrick and David, from Fed Ex, who apparently work for Wolfrum and Heart. I know that nowwwwwwwwww. They said they had info for me, but when I went there, pounce. Vampires."

"How did you know them?" interupts Jayde.

"They used to get stuff for me too. Look, dont kill me. I wont feed off humans. Im nice. I like puppies now and everything!!!!"

"I dont believe you!"

"But but but.... just leave me alone. Can I go back home and get stuff? Like a laptop?"

"It must be Glitch! Why should we let you live?"

"Because I can bring you information. Like Faith for example. You gotta stop her. Shes a psycho. All the vamps hate her and fear her. She's going to push them to something. Most of them want to taste slayer blood because apparently its so wonderfully tasty."

Jayde crosses her arms. Glitch talks faster.

"I.. I.. have you met Orme yet? Most of the other vamps are scared of him and all. He's got this fire and a plan and they are all, well they are scared of him, but they are sort of hanging round for the plan!"

"Which is?"

"I dont know. But I do know that Orme wants to know who the slayer is, but doesnt want her harmed. Hey, I could have told them who you were but I didnt!!"

"And how do we know that you wont..."

"Because bear want to liveeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

"Alex?"

"Lets call Mary and Gemma, they knew him best."

Twins house, 2000 6:58am

Mary and Gemma are summoned. Mary is feeling under the weather because she got in late last night and now its. like 7am!

"WHAT!"

"Dont bite my head off. In here now. Errrrrr, Alex has something to say to you."

Scooby Den, 2000 7:11am

Sun is almost up. Alex breaks it to the kids slowly that the old lovable Glitch is gone and is replaced by a very similar but not exactly the same one.

Alex: "No soul = Bad!"
