2 Sep 2000, Friday night...

Finds... Gemma and DMS hitting the towm and looking for somewhere that wont get either of them killed. They settle on a film and dinner.

Jonathan and Mary are at the house watching videos, well mary is studying, but that doesnt count.

Eventually Mary gets tired and heads off back to her hall. On the way she swings past the invisible wall. She spots some vampires talking. One seems to be so much in charge that... it could be Orme!!! Mary moves closer and starts to snap off shots. She calls Jayde for help, but gets only voice mail.

"..tried the Toolaks, but they couldn't get through either. We can try the Zombies tomorrow."

Orme ponders, considering the wall. "We must get through soon. I deligated this task to you. If you cant be trusted to do it...... The wall may keep out things from another dimension, try posessed things or live things."

Orme seems to sense Mary and the others are immediatly alert. "Leave it. Lets go." He turns and leaves and Mary breaths a sigh of relief. Mary is still somewhat paniced and calls Alex for rescue. Alex hears the word Orme and comes to the rescue.

Mary and Alex spend a nervous time worrying about Orme.

Jayde is at a nightclub. Hank and hoshi are there and greet her. Dustin and Billy are getting quietly smashed in a corner and Porshia is drifting between the two groups trying to stay cool with both. Hoshi chats to Jayde and asks "What have you been up to recently? Roumor has it that you have", she pauses, summoning her distaste, "a job."

"Well sort of. Gem and I inherited part owner ship in a book shop."

"Oh, retail. How wonderful for you."

"Im not working there. Owner. I might be interested in management of it."

"Oh. So do we get discounts?"

"You wouldnt want them. Its in the Castro. Its not a bookshop bookshop but, you know, a Castro bookshop."

"Oh. How fascinating. So how did you end up owning some of that?"

"Its sort of a left over from my mother."

Hoshi reguards Jayde for a moment. "But isnt she, err, dead?"

"Yes, hense the inherit nature of the bookshop."

"How fascinating."

In observing and chatting, it becomes clear to Jayde that Hank and Hoshi have combined their social directorness and become focal to the group. Feeling grumpy, Jayde heads out onto the dance floor to reassert her inner social director and get a bit of an ego boost. Finding some hunky second or third years, she starts to dance her heart out. The others drift onto the dancefloor at various times, but noone can keep up with the Machine that is Jayde. At about 2pm, she senses the club waning and decides to leave. She drifts out and finds that Mary has left a paniced message about finding Orme and needing help. Speeding to the bat mobile she rushes off.

Jayde calls Mary and finds out that the emergency is over. She abuses Mary for the message.

Changing history somewhat, Mary then goes out with Faith and Casey to a rave club. Bounce bounce bounce bounce. Casey is a little off put when Faith takes a guy out and stakes him. Vamp apparently.

3 Sep 2000, Saturday...

Gemma leaves early to visit the bookshop.

Mary and Alex research early and get some leads on Orme. Mary blows up some pictures and atlast they have a picture of Orme. Orme was chatting to Mr Fire Engineer and Mz Escape Driver plus some other unknown vamp.

Jayde drifts into the office and gets the heads up. Conrad has arrives and offers the idea that maybe the best plan is to stake out the inside of the wall and attack the vamps when they finally break through. This will give the gang the longest time to research and find more weaknesses. Jayde's up with that. She can stake it out while Faith patrols. Solid plan!

Jayde feels like some workin' out so she gets Alex to suit up and they practice. Oh yeah, zero boy is there too. The time just flies and before Jayde knows whats going on, she is all hyped and has smashed Alex into the wall a little too hard.

Suddenly Jayde realises that time has flown past and she is all hyped and energised with no recall of the last 30 mins. Freaked, she goes for a run, but that just doesnt cut it either. Thinking about her brat-ette, she heads over to the bookshop where Gemma has been spending the day.
