Arden Haines: GM info

Arden's great grandfather made a horrible discovery, he found out first hand about the existence of demons. After recovering from his first hand contact, he immediately started to research ways to counter the threat. His researches led him to contact others with similar experiences and/or magical abilities.

Soon his little group was put to the test when they happened against a demon attempting to create another HellMouth. The group sprang into action, beginning magics to bind the demon, close the HellMouth and force the demon back to its own dimension. Their magic closed the HellMouth and bound the demon, but their attempt to send it back to its own dimension went horribly wrong and magical energy exploded outwards. The date of this little adventure was April 18 1906 and SF lay devastated apparently by 'earthquake'.

Shocked at the destruction and loss of life their magical mistake had caused, they reinforced the binding and went back to the books.

The more they found out about the demon they had bound, the less hope there seemed to be to return it to its original plane so they reinforced the bindings and continued their studies.

So it was from father to son, until now....
