erm, there's references in the diary to Jayde as slayer ... how's that work
in to the Mary as slayer thing?

Mary was the slayer for teh last 2 years (instead of faith), then she gets
kidnapped by the warcouncil, killed, revived (just like happened to faith)
and then the scoobies and Jayde (newly called with Mary's death) rescue her

minimal changes.... mary was called instead of faith, pretty well everything
else that ^Hs happened has happened (except with mary instead of faith, so 
noone got murdered to rechard the knife etc).

okayyy. and I, as Mr Fucking Browning (or Browking, as you put it once, 
possibly mistakenly ;) am appointed by the Council to watch over Faith now that 
she's out of jail. I act sorta like a Watcher, sending her out on patrol and
stuff, only she's not a Slayer.

He was mary's watcher for the last couple of years (very much like buffy 
and giles) until the war council moved and kidnapped and 'farmed' mary.
Then henry and the rest of teh council rolled up and they have been sort
of running the show recently.
I mean Christian is still 'offically' Mary's watcher, but henry is his boss
and henry is right there, taking an active roll. (Thus christian's roll has
been reduced).
 
Did you see the character sheet and the 'shhh secret' documents?

yep, read all that just now. absorbed about half of it (stuff is breaking
all over the place here, so having trouble focusing)
how exactly is it going to play out. I mean, am I going to be Mary's
watcher from the get-go tonight?
and: I see him as "one of the guys" with mary and faith. that doesn't gel
with the faith diaries though, so he'd probably be a little more strict
with faith. still not really sure why I send faith out on patrol, what with
two local slayers...
definitely doesn't like the war council (duh) in fact would probably react
quite aggresively any of them showed up/showed any influence...
a little annoyed that henry is in control now - will try to be mary's 
watcher on the sly.

jayde is just jayde. not my problem. in fact, there will be some resentment
due to the way that jayde became a slayer. that and jayde doesn't tend to
have much time for other people probably means that I actually don't like her
much at all. definitely focusing attention on mary.

Henry and Alex (as a team) will sort of run the slayers. Christian has 
sort of been cooped out of the durect running. 
 
He is one of the guys with Mary, Casey and maybe Jayde. Faith doesnt like
him much. (duh). 
 
You sent faith out, because Jayde was burnt and Mary stabbed through the stomach and in hospital.

Ok, so Mary is your 'charge' (although henry has been doing quite some bossing
recently). Mary was stabbed (instead of faith) fighting orme and has just 
recovered from hospital and got up and around.

With both slayers in hospital, Faith and some of the other scoobies did patrols.
Patrols are to look for vamps, other supernaturals and the war council these
days.

Faith is a plain human, but she did do all the betrayal stuff with the mayor
etc in sunnydale. The council got her parolled and she is now under your 
charge (you are her 'parole' officer aided by a local (normal, unsupernatural)
parole officer (but he doesnt interfear much)).

Ok, there will be 'scooby meetings' more regularly (thanks to the threat
of the war council). You 'offically' control Mary as her watcher and the 
Council has put you in charge of Faith too.
Alex and Henry and you should be working as a team and using the two slayers
together, but really the others are focusing on training Jayde up to mary's 
high level.
Faith is yours to do with as you please. She knows about supernatural stuff
and she needs your ok to stay out of prison, so she can be useful for 
doing stuff around the place. Go nuts. Mary should see what effect this
is having on all conserned. :) Remember Faith betrayed Buffy and murdered
people and all that stuff that she did in the show, but she isnt the slayer
this time she was just a human who went evil. The council will want to make
sure she doesnt harm the slayers (but she knows too much to let free).

Ill handle Alex and Henry, but you should feel freee to join them in 
treating Jayde as a junior slayer to mary. Mary is the 'better' slayer
because she's been doing this for years. (Although she is just recovered
so she may still be weak)

what about Jayde? she's out and about (with hats on) I believe. Not so much
need for Faith to patrol now. needa figure what to do with her - though she
has the day job, so that's not so bad. having read the diary, I reckon it'd
be good to keep her busy at nights though ;) mary's OK with faith, isn't she?

[oh, hang on, the knife thing... is that still the story? if
so, mary probably
doesn't think very highly of faith at all...]
