She says she enjoys the chase. - Chase bloke in park and scare him real good. Fed off the human. - She then suggests that Kindred blood is much richer. They both open their thumbs. Ladies first, so she feeds of Simon, drinking him down to 2 blood points (frenzy type level). She then teases him with the smell and taste of her blood. Later, she feeds him again, this time with very rich blood. (4 pints = 6 BP i.e. 10 pints = 15 BP pool). * Simon returns home to find 13 (very dark red) roses on his bed. After the prince goes, they see Rene sitting in a chair and she says 'talk to me first'. * The breach is rumored to be a photo of some vampire feeding or killing someone. * They go off to see the priest. Find the name of the photographer. Phone Rene and go to the photographers office. - Go to his photographers office and find it broken into and the place trashed. Phone Rene and tell her then go to house. - At house and find his wife dead in the kitchen, him dead in the bath and his daughter missing. * Tell prince about possible problem with Rene. Spoil her reputation and earn her undying catered :-). Did she use the information to get their first? * Prince tells them to get more info from priest with the photos. - Get photos, punk attempts to kill the priest. They fight him and capture him. - Hmm police station. * Photos are of a person (man) fighting with another man. Destiny is obviously another name for the story tellers imagination. } { bryan * Bryan is requested by the prince to escort these people and keep a check on them. It rises into the dark sky, illuminated occasionally by a flash of sheet lightning. Dark shadows flicker around the top of the building as the street lights flicker on and off. The hospital is a large square building rising 8 stories. At the base, lights illuminate the entrances as people come and go into the structure." # "An ambulance pulls up to the front of the hospital and a flurry of people race out of the hospital. 'Another shooting' someone calls as the trolly is raced passed the sliding doors of casualty. 'Christ, get a defib' and the sound disappears as the sliding doors close. A loud crack of thunder startles you and the rain seems to get heavier." * The players meet and find out where the priest is. # "You walk through corridors that seem unnaturally bright with too many neon lights. Parked in the corridor are trollies with patients asleep. One man moans softly from a bed in the corridor, attended by a nurse. For corridor after corridor, this scene is repeated. A soft moaning can be heard behind you and there is a sudden rush of people burst out of a door you have just passed. A group of nurses and doctors come running out carrying boxes of equipment." * Let the ugly guy in the back stairs. Adonis, the Nosferatu. # "6 beds packed into this room (that is intended for 4). One man? lays gurgling across the other side of the room, another snores near the window. Under the eery glow of the night lighting, you find the priests bed. He is curled up asleep in the bed. Pulcheria finds Rene in one of the closed off corners of the room. 'Is anyone interested in a quick feed?' and hold up a IV bottle full of blood." They question the priest. * Go see the punks, he's in a bad way. Find the number plate of car (or where to meet the guy thats gunna pay him.) * Rene has fed on the bloke and he's now muttering about fangs and black cars!! * Meet Simon Moore, Rene's driver and 'companion'. Looks like the sort of looser who would roll lots of 1's :-). PUB CRAWL * go to a pub and wait for a certain dude. * chaffer rolls up. Adonis goes to find car, with Simon. - Black Merc with tainted windows. Adonis Kicks wheels and told to 'sod off'. - Walks past. Comes back, and kicks the car again, some nasty dogs come up. Adonis jumps up on the car roof and starts jumping "Aughh nasty dogs :-)". 'Thin guy(tm)' steps out and dogs leave. Simon and Adonis leave, pass chaffer. They spread out and the remaining bikers an move to the club entrance. Wind catches a coat and it opens to reveal a shotgun." # "Brujah from Sydney. Dont find crate. { bryan - Adonis finds a create and 'thin guy (tm)' examining a crate of heroin. - tg(tm)'s thugs hear Father Haem, James and Arthur Windsor (he's related to the royal family you know :-) exploring the warehouse with the dominated official. } - others are outside (& bored!) - James knocks out one thug. - Adonis knocks out the other (and only gets shot a bit) - tg(tm) cant be found. James hears him and sprays the area. The tg(tm) ignites the floor (=magic!), disappears and James flees. As she walks along, she chances upon a display that causes her to start. As she stares, tears of blood roll down her cheek. She screams a long cry of 'nooooo' with a voice full of loss and sadness (sad sound, one of despair) Blind with anguish, she smashes her fist down onto the case. Was Arcanum but disappeared after he stole the books. He obviously learned magic. - He tells of photos of Dr Walton in warehouse. How photographer was there by accident. Took the photos of Walton killing a guard while looking got the crate. - Judge put Dr Walton's card on the Porche in hopes that Walton would get in trouble and to help the brood find the real killer in this story. - Offers info to the pack in return for stealing books from Dr Walton. - Adonis makes himself popular with Landly by cracking jokes. Magi attitude to Tremere: they suck. Get given some of the books Walton wants (photocopy same). * Convoy rolls around to Dr Waltons again. Pulcheria, Roger and Natalie (gee Nicky writes neat character sheets!) go 'return' books to Dr Walton. Pulcheria gets into a 'bit' of trouble. Has a fit on the floor, and is dragged out by Natalie. Roger returns books. - Wait till he sleeps and take his keys. Open his library and take books that are needed. Then take more books. Rene does not get to torch the place, but wants to. * Photocopy books. Ingrid shape changes it into a dog. "Just wanted to see what you would do...". As soon as she sees you, she crawls out of her bed and starts to punch you with her free arm. Screaming, 'you bastard!!! I hate you!!'. She stumbles to the floor and two nurses burst in the door. Caroline stumbles after you and the nurses grab her and drag her to the bed. 'Looks like a mental case. Call the hospital shrink. Father, you had better leave.' * June 1992 South Yarra } { dwagon bryan dave ART ATTACK II ------------- * repeat dream as in ART ATTACK I bryan has a dream Rene drops to her knees as sheets of glass from the roof slices through everything, kindred as well as the displays. Rivers of blood tears roll down Rene's cheeks. Her shape blurs and is replaced by two bodies, one of which stays sobbing on the floor and the other stands. The second one turns, its eyes fierce with anger and hate. This 'angry version' of Rene stands and changes before your eyes. Its facial features change. They sharpen and body becomes different (shorter and chubbier). This new creatures eyes light up like beacons from hell and her mouth opens, revealing a full set of razor, sharp, pointed teeth. Simon Moore approaches her and is torn in two. The monster roars and looks around, seeing Rene at its feet, it reaches down and picks her up. With lightning speed, it bites into her neck and drinks deeply. Rene is tossed to the floor like a useless broken doll and the monster turns to look at Adonis, as the room fills with flame. It walks toward Adonis, he frenzys and his head is ignited. She walks off and he attempts to stop her. He fails and dies. Kindred scream as they burn. Moves to Father Haem, leaps forward reaching out with its claws... * Adonis wakes reaching and clammy in his bed. } { general bryan dwagon dave amanda RIDERS ------ * Street punk delivers a message to Scots church addressed to 'The Protectors of the Mascara-de'. It contains an invitation to a club by the name of Tech Masquerade. Present this invitation to the man at the door and he will admit you. Garakan" * The club is in the seedy parts of the city. Hobos live in dark alleys and the streets are dirty with the litter of junk food and discarded papers. Around the vic market. * Inside the club, people play pool at a number of tables. The bouncer at the door, says "over in the corner" through a smile thats missing a number of teeth. * In the corner sit Garakan, Ryder and Tour with two other unknown bikers. As you approach, Tour steps up, two other bikers step up behind him. They move between the group and Ryder and Garakan. * Garakan: "Welcome to this humble abode. I am afraid that without the princes support, it contains less fine art than you may be use to." Ryder: "Why invite them?" Tour: "Yeah, what da skolla says". Ryder shakes his head and looks skyward. G: "My friends, have some faith. You are new are you not?" PCs: "yeah" G: "I gather that the prince hasn't talked about the so-called Anarch problem? No?" PCs: "naaa" G: "Well not all Kindred are lucky enough to be needed by the prince as soon as they are created. The prince will control over his domain, even at the expense of other. He has heard some stuff about him and he is a trouble maker. * Pulcheria always wanted to live forever and looks forward to it. The price matter to me but little." } { dm #basement * Here, over a 1/2 finished game of pool argue Davis Mckackie and Dr Zakery Hobbs. Davis is defending 'historical' works and Hobbs is hitting a great speal on how the frontier 'new wave' must win. The old will be swept up and used to fuel the new revolutions." Fred Frame sits nearby and chuckles at each argument. He laughs harder at Mckackie. In one hand he holds a dark drink and in the other something on a chain. When he looks at it, he seems to become entranced and all humor drains from his face. Hearts end contains a couple in a half undressed state. They kiss and cuddle on the pillows left there. Laying down on the pillows is also a woman who has her dress opened on the top and she lays on her side facing the wall. Ma'am leans down and examines her. Her neck has been sliced open and the pillows she lays on are stained dark with blood. She has blond hair and is wearing a short leather skirt, black silk top and a chain with a gold ankh and cross. "Damn she has gone." Ma'am's eyes seem to glow a red and she turns slowly. She stands and paces out of the 'end'. * If followed, she will approach the woman talk to her. She will them embrace her, sound of wings, the woman crumples to nothing. * If left here, nothing else will happen. * If they look for the man, they will find him as the woman does. She will run at him crying and screaming. He will does not see her. She will ram him and he will fall over. He looks confused, he sees her. She will attack him with fists. As the shape leaves the curves of her flesh, their is a green glow and it becomes solid. A huge open cut appears on her chest and the shape forms into a sword. You hear it slice her skin. (Sort of a wet swhing) A dark skinned man leaps forward, and draws a curved sword over his arm, drawing blood. Out of the shadows, move about 2 'street gang' types. From the side of the dark man leaps another dressed in leathers. Ingrid whirls and slices through the mans arm. His severed arm falls to the ground, still on the sword he was holding. Knight stands, his arms up. "HALT! Enough! I gave orders for no combat! I apologise, speaking thus in front of your slaves." Ingrids looks change. Her hair is red, long and flows free. Her eyes are a ice blue. Her face sharpens its features. Fangs are bared. She raised her sword and screams. She slices through the mans chest. "Aughh!!!" She picks up the arm and pours the blood over he face and her mouth. The picks up the first one by the hair and slices his neck open with the sword. "Drink well my sword." Then attacks his neck. Knight looks worried and motions for the pack to retreat. "Hygd, killer, join us again." She stops drinking and turns. Ingrid throws him to the ground. The change is remarkable. From perfect image of a killer to the quiet minder of Toby image again. She seems to shrink, and her hair seems to corkscrew back into a rather dull mop. The only tell tail sign are the blood streaks over her face. "No! I have my life back. I kill innocents no more. I now feed by Amaranth." The child walks to the door, asks to leave and goes out. He comes back with a blood doll holding his hand. He says... "want to know a secret?". The blood doll leans down and the child slices her throat open. He goes to feed and a priest woman slaps him. "dont play with your food." "The one we seek is able to change its shape. We belive that the one we seek was once a female, but no one is sure. She has been able to take on shapes and images for so long that no one is really sure what it looks like. But it lives and seeks to play Jyhad with us all. (Willaby is Knight) The door opens, as if by magic and in the door stands an exact copy of Ingrid. Flanked by copies of Adonis and Roger. The Ingrid clone is handed a scroll by the Adonis clone. The Ingrid clone wears headphones and chews gum. "Rivals of mine by the name of Sabbat, I greet thee." The Ingrid clone spits out a wad of gum. And takes off a set of headphones. "Hey man, I make a cool chick eh?!??" "Yea once intended to destroy me. But I have accomplished this day, my first requirement. The 'clones' leave and discussion returns. The door handle opens slowly. People load up again. The door opens, Flynn looks stunned. A woman with black hair and a vampires paleness enters. She is dressed as a goth in all black, wears a leather jacket, a gold chain around her neck, John Lennin glasses and a top hat. She smokes and exhales the smoke through her nose, in two fiery jets. { rob * John Lennin glasses were made from pennys. } "The one named Rene Venerey whos name means hunter & indulgence shall be released. As he turns a corner, he sees two people in tee shirts one with a briefcase. Another man approaches and shoots one of the tee-shirt people. He tells the other one to drop the case and 'get going'. The other man flees. * The new man leans down and drinks from the shot tee-shirt man. Adonis attacks him and kills him. Hmm wonder who he was? He was kindred, because he decomposed. * Adonis starts splitting the killed kindred into pieces, putting the bits in the briefcases and takes it all outside. Annette Shun Wa notices he looks nervous and Adonis refuses to talk to her because he is busy. * Adonis gets all the bits outside and asks Annette if she can 'get rid' of bits. From its edges can be heard the quiet sounds of humans. To the east is the bass beat of music and the sounds of humans partying. "You hear heavy breathing and moaning from the dark shadows. A set of footsteps echoes down a path in the other corner of the park at a rushed pace. Their is a movement in the bushes and a ruckus starts as almost simultaneously, all the possums sprint up the trees, scared and frightened. They race to the tops of the trees and no more is seen or heard of them." * a couple are 'smooching' in the bushes. The woman is on top, but all is not right! She is staked through the man to the ground below by a 4 foot stake. They call the police and ambulance. They go in further. A bus and a number of cars are parked near. Their are faces in the window of the bus. Around the fire sit a number of vampires, some of who you have seen before at the sabbat meet and from the front of the Museum. * They clear a path on each side and they start to leap through the fire. * dave gets excited and jumps through. He Rotrechs and the catch him, hand cuff his hand to he ankle and throw him through the fire again. * everyone else jumps through the fire. Adonis also Rotrechs and is thrown through (by Simon :-). Estell rolls for her Rotrechs and from 5 dice, gets 5 tens (4 tens and a 20 on 4*ten sided and a twenty!! BEST POSSIBLE ROLL!!! AMAZING!). Anthony character botches his jump roll and falls in :-) Estell talks to some sabbat people. * The sabbat cheer and clap when the 'cammies' jump through the fire. They are getting hyped, Simon is really getting into it. * They drop a few people from the trees. Drink & joke... "sorta changes your perspective on life somewhat.:)" * "OK, feeding time". The sabbat carry a large bucket to under a human hanging by his feet, (no-one does anything) and the human has his neck cut. His blood is consumed by the sabbat. They start on human number 2. (Harrison, get rid of the body and one of the sabbat cuts it down and walks off). * Adonis follows the sabbat with the body and kills him. Then he drains the blood and throws both bodies in the lake. * Auction the humans and hunt. The bidding is silent/finger movements. The first specimen is a well built young man... "direct from pumping iron, we have... (whats ya name son)... Carl Frobisher. What am I bid?" * It all seems quite healthy, until it suddenly stops. Everyone turns to Ingrid. Knight turns and says... "Are you willing to buy this mortal? Share our hunt and our blood? Join us again?" "You have no idea how I wish for this.", replies Ingrid, through gritted teeth. She is getting agitated. "To hunt again? Kill again? Live again? Rather than live the death of Camarilla existence?", questions Knight. "Naao! No I will not join you.", Ingrid says, looking disappointed. Knight swears under his breath. The bidding continues. * Simon at one stages bids. "Um Simon, you know what you are bidding for??" "Umm No" "Know what you are offering in your bid?" "Umm No, but it feels good :-)" Simon stops bidding. :-( * Eventually, 5 humans are auctioned. The 5 winning sabbat line up. The humans are released after being shown claws and teeth. The run. The child, Flynn, counts time on a watch. "time". The 5 watch each other, and then one of them breaks, the others all break too and the chase is on. When the one breaks, the audience boos and throws rocks. The audience races off chasing various people. The person who broke first is chased by a large sabbat with a club. (leaves the elders to talk business) * Ingrid is nervous and figity. Knight seems happy. "How I wish to hunt again." Ingrid paces off and peers into the darkness. Knight smiles to himself. * After a while they all return. They each drag (screaming/unconscious) human. The one who broke first is placed in the circle and shot by the other sabbat. He is dragged off to the bus. The humans are brought closer and they are told to stay in the circle. * Kid says 'The bodies are still hanging. Where is Harris?' * Where is Adonis? The sabbat split up and do look. They have each grabbed auto weapons from the bus. [12:00] * Adonis appears to Flynn and says "whats up?" * He is taken back to the fireplace. Flynn questions him and tells Knight that he is suspicious of Adonis. "Your kind always hates my kind" says Adonis. "Come over here for a second, Adonis" asks Knight. Knight dominates him and asks where Harrison is. Adonis is hesitates and does not answer. * Knight motions to a man in the bus. Talks on a radio. * All taken off and flame in a bowl. They start discussing what to do. Roger gives Adonis a cellular phone. * Knight, the 2 priestesses and a woman not seen before enter the cafe. Knight approaches the tables, asks for Adonis. "Dunno where he is" answers Roger. * Knight says that Adonis is responsible for the killing of Harrison. Many of his pack would not take kindly to this action and that this could lead to: - war between the sabbat and the Camarilla in Melb. "You broke the peace, now their is war." - greater gains for the sabbat. "One of you killed one of us during a peace.. we want...." * Either case is bad for Adonis, as in both, the prince would probably blame him. Adonis says that Knight is in a better position by not telling, as he, Adonis, must then obey him. * Knight says lots of people would lose in a war. Knight says the sabbat are in a better position that the group argue. * In a war, the Tremere would lose "Many of out number dislike the Tremere and Magus". The Brujah would be used as front line warriors by the prince and take the brunt of the attack. The Ventrue would be wiped out and the Gangrel spread to the hills. The Nosferatu would be the last to be dug out. * Knight asks Adonis what he has to offer. Adonis has nothing. Knight offers him a week to better his position, (read as find info about/for the sabbat :). Adonis says "umm OK." * Knights recommends that the others help, as they would all loose from a war. THE MIRACLE ----------- [2:30] * They all pile into Marks (the new-by) car. They drive around and swap information!!!!! (wow! Working as a group!!!) - They pool info on the Methuselah, Ingrid and the sabbat. * rgg says people should plan to leave Melb in 6 days ;-) * One week to find something of use about the Methuselah.. Talk to Father Haem, and tell him nothing. Rene rings Simon and asks for a lift. * Plan is to make sabbat pack do something embarrassing. Knights Adonis info is then cancelled out. * She is at the regency. They all picked up Rene. Mark left to 'do some stuff'. * Argued about where to go. Estell rang Ingrid and she said... nightclub. Rene said, "Gee sounds fun... Ill go!" Estell asks, "Know anything about the sabbat?" Roger laughs, "She was staked for a week by them, of course she knows something." [3:30] * Simon, Adonis Obfuscate and enter the club. Roger 'bops' in to the dance floor and Estell 'minces' round. * 4 sabbat. 2 men, 2 women. One of the women is giving orders to the others. A man and woman (not the one giving orders) go off to the dance floor. The man left is dressed in cheap tie-dyed cloths and wears headphones. His head bops like MrRuperts does when he listens to music. [4:00] * Roger danced past and the woman who gave the orders walks up to him and greets him by name. "Do I know you babe?" replies Roger. "No, but I know you. And a friend of yours 'knight'" she smiles and replies. "Have you been following me?" asks Roger with his new found paranoia. "Yes, sometimes." she replies. At this stage, Rogers replies become VERY slow and with long pauses. (but we didn't tease him about it :-) "Why?" "To find out about you darling". "How long have you known knight?" he eventually enquires. "Several lifetimes" "Do you still feel human impulses?" asks Roger hoping to score. "Sometimes, but its not polite to invite a man back to ones haven on a first date. Time for me to ask a question. Where is your new haven?" "Umm I move around a lot." { rgg "Seen Denise Astor lately??" (a secretary at Rogers work) "Umm no I have.." "Well she is insurance against you leaving town in a hurry. If you leave in way the next week, she dies, and so do many of your work mates." } At THIS stage, father Haem puts a gun to Rogers head and says: "Speak faster" Roger TK's the gun away. Father Haem botches his control roll and so Roger gets to aim it anywhere wants. BANG!!! The gun shoots the sabbat woman in the head. Blood splashes over some of the humans dancing and the woman (called Lissiad) is flung back into the crowd. The crowd splits, the hippy dives into the dancers. Roger goes over to her, Estell rushes up apologising. Lissiad grabs her head and recovers form the shot. "2 minutes to bring the man who shot me, or ill kill you" Roger runs off to get Father Haem. Father Haem dominates him and tells him to forget the incident. Roger says to Haem that he thinks that they should rejoin the group. [4:15 sunup 5:30] "Excuse me, but I have something to discuss with your prince" says the now recovered (but still blood soaked) Lissiad. She walks off with the other 3 sabbat. Estell rushes up. "Is their anything we can do to change your mind?" "Well I feel like shooting something. I will accept going to a park and shooting those responsible." They all go outside and the sabbat say "Fitzroy park, 10 mins." Simon is still hidden and goes to follow them. The others argue and try to force father Haem, "Whats this all about?", into the car. He does not want to go in the car, "I'll go if I ride my bike". They follow him (he has Adonis on the back) and after he drives down a alley (and crashes). He drives off to the park and gets their one min late. [4:45 sunup 5:30] The sabbat hold 2 assault weapons and a shotgun. They 'invite' the players into the park. They follow them to the 'fairy tree' ("qute tree" sabbat say). "Just walk over their near the tree" says the woman who was shot, who takes an assault rifle from the other sabbat woman. "Hmm nice bark....AuUgHhh" The woman empties a whole magazine into him (12 levels of damage, 2 soaked I think). Father Haem falls to the ground (those bits that dont splatter against the splintering tree. The woman reloads and walks over to Roger. "Dont ever lie to me again" she says. "Umm AughhHHhH" replies Roger wittily to the automatic fire. He takes some stupid amount of damage too (but manages a good soak and is only crippled). "Lets go" says the woman to the other sabbat. The one nearest Father Haem puts two more 3 round bursts into father Haem for another 7 & 3 levels. Roger gets shotgunned for another 5 & 4. They walk off. Adonis and Estell pick up the two wounded and make their way over to the cars. { dave * Simon hid until the sabbat went into the park (with the others). Then he cleverly let the tires down on the sabbat car. Then he catches a taxi out of the area, home. } The sabbat get to their car and turn around, moving back into the park. Adonis pumps his strength and climbs a TALL tree. Estell stand and waits (not being able to run). The sabbat walk back up and Estell offers them a lift. The walk back to the cars. Adonis meanwhile feeds Roger enough blood to move again. The sabbat ask Estell for her keys. She says no. The sabbat raise their guns, and Estell sees the light. "Did I say no? Umm yeah sure". The sabbat grab their things out of the back of their car and load it into Estell. Estell asks for a lift. "Sure we are going to our Haven, your welcome to come." :-) "Umm no. Actual I think im fine here." [5:00 sunup 5:30] The sabbat pour automatic fire into Rogers hire car, the sabbats old car and father Haem's bike. Then they drive off (at an unreasonable speed and quite unsafe!) Estell calls the police (reports stolen car by men with guns), taxi and Ingrid (long pause "What?"). Changing her mind, Estell cancels the Taxi and rings Ingrid again. "Umm I know its late..." "I was just getting into bed actually.." "Could you come and pick us up? We are at []" "Its light in 30 min you know." "Umm yeah. Its important." "On the way." They start walking to Father Haem's church. Just outside, Ingrid rolls up (crunching the gears) in a Porche. "Sun up bus. Leaves in 30 seconds" "Hello Ingrid" says Roger. "See you Roger" she replies "Umm I'm in now... go" Ingrid runs a few red lights and races to a town house in Parhan. The sky is this nice light blue, screeching tires, they race through the garage door (auto opening). Nice smell of burning rubber and overheating brakes. Parkville. Knight, the one he hunts, an Assamite friend and myself all formed a sabbat pack. We hunted, fed and lived together. As time went on, we grew closer and closer. This was in the days when the sabbat was new and had not yet set in its ways. We became immensely close, we bonded together. Our younger members were bonded to us, but not we to them. We ran where we wanted and lived as we liked. Soon we were joined by a mortal and a cancer spread through our little group. Changeling left after a fight with the Assamite. I had the Changeling at my mercy, but I let him go, feeling I could not kill him. We killed the human and Knight and I continued with what was left of the pack. It just was not the same. I became leader. Before that, I was always killing and following orders. I let my beast free and killed with no care or concern. Now, I was called upon to hold the pack together. After a while, we found her. As the fight progressed, I had the feeling I was fighting for the wrong side. Changeling was in it for the ideals. The man who did this to Arthur pulls out a gun and rushes over to get a bead on Cindy. A van rolls up and the doors swing open and their are more men inside, with guns and flack jackets. The van explodes in fire. The man shoots Cindy and she is flung off the taxi. He rishes over to finish off Bruce and Robert shoots him. Cindy/Roger miss the bloke, but Robert hits and he does down. Roger scrambles for the gun, and notices Salra. A car and van approach, the van goes after Salra down an alley. Robert dives into the taxi and grags in Cindy and Bruce. Roger dives for the door and the car pulls up and people spring out with auto weapons. "Halt!" Robert dives in, bullets start and the car is riddled. Cindy and Bruce are protected, but still take some. Robert floors it down the alley and is followed by Barb and Father Heam. They are shot at, ram the van and get out.
