To avoid the `One True Path', this adventure is based on the idea
that their is a sequence of events, which will occur, with no player
intereaction. These background events tick past as time passes.
Players interact with NPCs and these events to cause the changes.

Naturally, this flow of events will be changed by the players, but it
is outlined here to give you, the storyteller, a better idea of the
overall plan.

Also included in this section is the pre history of the game.




\section{Pre Game history}

This section is just for the information of Storytellers.
Events with an 'H' next to the year are actual historical events.
Events without the 'H' are game related ones.

so as a ghoul, educated.
\item [1395BC]  Uri born. Ends up as a slave in the royal palace.

\item [1366BC H] Nefertiti is 15 years old. She is sold/sent to Amunhotep III.
\item [1364BC H] Amunhotep III dies. Nefertiti is 17 years old,
Amunhotep IV (age 12), becomes king.
\item [1363BC H] Nefertiti and Amunhotep IV marry.
\item [1362BC H] Nefertiti's first daughter, Meritaten (beloved of Aten), born.
\item [1362BC] Fighting Seties. Drive Tiy and the Setites out.
\item [1361BC H] Nefertiti's second daughter, Meketaten born.
\item [1360BC H] Nefertiti's third daughter, Ankhesenpaten born.
Decide to build Akhetaten.
\item [1359BC H] Nefertiti and Akhetaten (Amunhotep IV) ride into the
desert on chariot and select site for the new city. 100,000 engineers
and workmen start to build a new city, Akhetaten.
\item [1358BC H] Nefertiti's birth of fourth daughter, Neferneferuaten.
\item [1357BC H] Akhetaten, the "Most beautiful city in the world"
is formally dedicated.
\item [1357BC] Setites retreat from Egypt and regroup. Egyptian armies
fight other vampires and other supernatural nasties.
\item [1356BC? H] Nefertiti's bust created.
\item [1355BC H] Akhetaten completed. Birth of Nefertiti's fifth daughter,
Neferneferure.
\item [1353BC H] Birth of Nefertiti's fifth daughter, Setepenre.
\item [1352BC H] Last portrait of Nefertiti's full family. Death of Meketaten.
\item [1351BC] Nasty vampires strike back with more force.
\item [1351BC H] Decline starts. Semnkhkare marries Meritaten and
becomes "the darling of Akhenaten."
\item [1350BC] Vampires have taken control again and start breaking up
the family. Semnkhkare, the Setite pawn is sent into corrupt Akhetaten.
\item [1350BC H] Rejection of Nefertiti's title great royal wife. Meritaten
becomes first lady, Smenkhkare becomes co-regent.
\item [1349BC H] Nefertiti breaks with Akhenaten, moves to northern palace. 

\item [1349BC] Nefertiti embraces herself and kills her vampire masters.
She flees to her palace and embraces Jul, her chief bodyguard and send
him out to combat the Settites. Embraces Lahn, her lady in waiting
and commands her to take some of her servants and 'ensure out people
survive'. Embracing 20 other trusted servants, she starts a long, (but
losing) battle for her country.

\item [1348BC H] Ankhesenpaten (12) marries father, Akhetaten.
\item [1348BC] Ankhesenpaten forced to marry to gain access to royal title.
\item [1347BC H] Smenkhkare dies, soon after, Akhetaten dies.
Nefertiti writes to the Hitties.
\item [1347BC] Nefertiti's forces struck at her enemy, but Akhetaten
is killed. Nefertiti moves to marry Hittie prince, but he is killed
and her chance is lost.
\item [1346BC H] Ankhesenpaten marries the young Tutankhaten.
Tutankhaten destroys worship of one God.
\item [1344BC H] (Historically: Nefertiti (probably) dies).
\item [1344BC] All the 20 of Nefertiti's origional childer, except for
Jul and Lahn have been destoryed.
\item [1343BC] Uri embraced by Nefertit in his old age (52) as all
resistance is finally crushed by the Settites. Both flee as the
Setites win total victory. Nefertiti is consumed by dispare, Uri cares
for his Queen.

\item [1330BC] Nefertiti changes her name (not wanting to attract the
attention of vampires) to Peret (after one of the seasons, the time of
sowing).

\item [~1300BC-~800BC] Nefertiti and Uri split up. Uri heads north and
Nefertiti heads south. Both wander, but Uri finds contentment amongst
the flowering cultures of the Medeterainian basin.

\item [~800BC-~500BC] Nefertiti and Uri reunite and start amassing
power in the Greek, Roman and Carthagian states. Having visited all
these empires, they argue about which is best. Nefertiti is drawn to
Carthage, while Uri argues that Rome has made the greater advancements.

\item [~300BC-~140BC] Carthage and Rome fight.
\item [146BC H] Carthage is destoryed and Rome has paid a high moral
price for its victory.
\item [146BC] Nefertiti is melocholy and so Uri leaves their pawns to
the game and return to wandering, a forgotten Queen and her sevant. They
wander north.

\item [0 XX check me!] Rome takes over Egypt. Ventrue displace
Setties.

\item [58AD] Uri splits off to return to his beloved Roman empire.
Nefertiti heads north and west into England and eventually into the
frozen lands of the Norse.

\item [72AD] Jul has taken to fighting the Romans for his country,
binging him into conflict with Uri. Uri, a slave, forfits to his
breathing days superior and withdraws all influence from Egypt.

\item [198AD] Nefertit chances along an Egyptian expedition. Curious,
she marks the leading Kindred Thalmaturgically and shadows him for a
while before losing interest.

\item [199AD] The same expedition encounters Ingrid and the Egyptian vampire
takes her as a rare prize for his master and returns to Egypt.

\item [200-259AD] Ingrid is taken to Egypt as a gift for the
Egyptian's master. She is educated.

\item [210AD-449AD] Nefertiti seeks out Uri, who is well entrenched
in the Roman empire, although he thinks that it's not as great as
it was.

\item [260AD] Nefertit can not overcome the curiosity about her home
and returns, following the mark. She returns to find Ingrid under the
control of the Ventrue who now control her land, having taken it with
their Roman soldiers.
Nefertiti, noticing Ingrids resistance of the blood bond, starts
resistance to the domination of Ingrids master who has become lax,
assuming all his toys are bloodbonded.

\item [262AD] Ingrid kills her sire and sire's sire. Flees north, back
to village and becomes valkiri.

\item [265-800AD] Ingrid fights the Giants and other Norse monsters.

\item [449AD] Nefertiti finds Uri. They florish in an empire that
consentrates on its people rather than their Gods and leaders, but
Nefertiti sees the seeds of Corruption planted in the Empire.

\item [480AD] Nefertit leaves to find Jul, but fails. All evidence of
his forces have been destoryed and his forces and followers fled.

\item [800 XX check me] Christians come to the Norse and start to
undermine the Old Gods. The Norse beliefs weaken and their life is
changed forever. A last few true Norse fight a bitter defence, but the
new god weaken the old gods sufficently for the Giants to destory the
Rainbow Bridge.

\item [~1000] Ingrid, seeing her life destoryed, heads south,
joining with the barbarian tribes and heading straight for whoever
will fight, hoping to die in battle.

Uri, realising that Nefertit was correct, but unable to take the
destruction of Rome, heads east, into India.

Nefertit concludes that it is the manipulation of mortals by the 
supernaturals that should be stopped. 

\item [1022] Tremere discover 'secret' of immortality.

\item [1030] Lahn contacts Nefertiti and introduces Nefertiti to her
'families'. Lahn has managed to shelter a small group of Nefertiti's
loyal follwers and even one of Nefertiti's daughters offspring (or the
desendants, now). Nefertiti grant Lahn freedom, but she refuses to
take it.

\item [1080] Lahn suceeds in convincing Nefertiti to become
involved against the Elders. Nefertiti and Lahn start to observe.

\item [1133] Tremere munches Saulot.

\item [1200] Uri visits and all three Methusalahs blood bond.
Nefertiti becomes Frederika. Nefertiti realises the size of organised
power bases that the Elders have built.

\item [1205 H] Inquisition starts.
\item [1210 H] Roger Bacon born.
\item [1212 H] Frederick the second becomes Emperor of Germany.
\item [1220 H] Frederick the second crowned.
\item [1230 H] Frederick the second absolved for his excommunication.
\item [1239 H] Frederick the second excommunicated again.

\item [1394] Camarilla first suggested.
\item [1450] Toreadore Radael De Corazon's speech, leading to the
formation of the Camarilla.
\item [1493-oct-23] Convention of Thorns.

\item [1493-1543] Sabbat form.

\item [1529] Frederika goes to join, leaving Lahn in charge of the
Family and sending Uri to start building influence in Camarilla
cities. Ingrid comes to join and is reunited with Frederika. Meet
Knight and One and start to fight against the Elders (each for
different reasons).

\item [1533] Obedia joins the pack, to combat the Tremere.

\item [1547] Obedia betrays pack. One is destroyed, Frederika sensing
her disconnection from the pack, leaves.

\item [1549] The rest hunt her and track down Lahn and the 'family'.
Lahn masquerades as Frederika and is destroyed with the 'family'
dispite Ingrid's protests. Frederika flees to Uri, and he is drawn to
her, upon the death of Lahn. Frederika swears revenge against Knight.

\item [1550-1600] Frederika starts to take revenge on Knight. The pack
lose all influence and Ingrid becomes more and more dissatisfied, even
though she has been granted leadership of the pack.

\item [1610] One's child, tracks Frederika down and the pack are
ordered to destroy her by the Sabbat command. Frederika is still
morning the loss of her family and puts up little resistance, but
before the pack can destory her, Ingrid changes sides and rescues her.

\item [1611] Frederika enteres torpor, tired of life.

\item [1620] One's child killed by Ingrid while attempting to kill Frederika.

\item [1630] Uri wanders into China but has little real contact with
Eastern Kindred He returns to India.

\item [1680] Knight finds his life empty and wanders for a while before
recommitting to the Sabbat and reconstructing his power base.

\item [1750] Ingrid enters torpor.

\item [1800] Frederika and Ingrid wake. Remone embraced by Ingrid,
Frederika goes into volentary torpor, but keeps mental contact with
Ingrid. Ingrid, Remone and Frederika explore the 19th century.

\item [1805] StoneBridge embraced at Frederikas will.

\item [1810] Settites track down Frederika's link to Ingrid and
start to use domination techniques on her. Start to undermine her
mental discipline (path). Ingrid rejects Remone and leaves on her
own. Travels north and with effort of will, regains purpose.
Settites back off and start implanting doubts and weaknesses over
extended periods.

\item [1820] Remone finds Ingrid. Settites make him bitter, sabotage
Ingrids relations with others.

\item [1842 H] Egyptologist Richard Lepsius discovers Akhetaten, the
city and with it the first references to Nefertiti.

\item [1880] Ingrid does M.D. at Cambridge.

\item [1912-Dec-6 H] Nefertiti's bust discovered (no jokes please),
\item [1912-Dec-6] 3333 years after her birth (remember to correct
for Julian dates and 1752).

\item [1930] Frederika decides that a leader born of this time is
required. Gets Ingrid comments on research into genetics, start looking into 
subject.

\item [1950] Ingrid and Frederika move over to Queensland, Australia.

\item [1960] Ingrid contacts Progenitor Technomancers. Ingrid, with
Frederika's help from Torpor convinces an elder Progenitor into joining
her.  Work on genetic methods of cloning from anchient DNA. Soon, a
child is made from Ingrid and Frederika's DNA.

\item [1963] Ingrid meets Rene at University where she is a postgrad
in genetics. 

\item [1965] Rene is implanted with the child. Rene gives birth
to a child, Toby.

\item [1966] Rene is killed and embraced by Malkavian in Queensland.
Ingrid kills the Malkavian. Attracts Tremere interest. Members of the
chandry follow details to University. Mage and Tremere fight, Mage is
killed, building burnt. Young Toby is very badly burnt, Frederika
forces rescue, by other students and staff (leaving photographic
evidence).

\item [1967] Toby recovers sufficently to stop drinking Frederikas
blood. Frederika is shocked and worried about Toby's mortality while
he grows up. Ingrid and Frederika decide to move to Sydney, but
prepare Melbourne for future home.

\item [1977] Frederika comes out of Toror for a short time to
destroy Settite leader who discovered Ingrid. Settites unsure of
cause and start investigation.
