Jupiter One

The Jupiter One station was constructed between 2025 and 2026 via a special charter of the United Nations (UN) security council under the Sol Emergency Cultural Protection Act (SECPA) of 2025. The Jupiter One station (nicknamed Blakley's Halo, or simply Halo in common parlace) is the only legal interface between alien races and humans as defined by the Human Declaration of Metacultural Independance (2025) and the Foundation Statement for Independance for the Sol System (2026) and associated mutual defense treaties.

SECPA allocated UN funds to the construction of a station to fill the role of trading, refueling, technology exchange and cultural exchange with alien cultures. The station construction was negotiated between the UN and the two alien metacultures and is run by human crew, but has alien diplomatic represntation.

SECPA created a UN protectorate around Jupiter and its moons. This zone, to be enforced by the UN Defence Association (UNDA) is defined to keep Human culture pure from Alien influence, but to allow cultural exchange, trade and diplomatic contacts.

The station became partially operational in 25 Sept 2026 at an opening ceremony attended by newly elected Israli PM, Lamir Yahalom and his wife, Naomi. This marked the offical opening of the station for use by UN, Sol based Government and Metacorperations to meet and contact with the aliens.
